Julep Maven Box & Coupon Code

7 Dec

Hey there nail polish/monthly beauty sampler addicts! A new sampler program has launched and it’s all about coloring those cuticles. Think Birchbox but for nails! The Julep Maven program will send you their monthly “Sneek Peek Box” which includes on-trend nail polish colors and a variety of mani-pedi products (like hand scrubs, lotions, etc). Julep advertises each of their Sneek Peek Boxes to be worth over $40, but the membership fee is $19.99 per month.

One feature that Julep has that most other monthly samplers don’t:  you can CHOOSE what products are sent to you. No more disappointing samples that you’ll never use! And if you just aren’t feeling anything Julep is offering that month, you can skip your shipment. If only ALL beauty subscription services were that flexible.

If you’re interested in trying out the Julep Maven program, use the code GIRLYENTHUSIAST at checkout to get your first box for only $5!!! That’s a steal considering they are $19.99! You can always skip or cancel later if you decide it isn’t your thing, but I would definitely take advantage of getting at least one box for $5. You can sign up at www.Julep.com and enter the code at checkout.

What I like the most about these polishes are the fact that you only need to apply ONE coat and you’re done. Seriously, one coat. Julep bottle = 8ml vs OPI bottle = 15ml. Although the Julep bottles are smaller, only one coat is sufficient so you’re pretty much using the same amount of product.

My Sneek Peek Box:

Seriously, how gorgeous are those polishes? Perfect winter shades! Whitney is a gorgeous neutral mushroom color and Michelle is a bold, gorgeous blue. Also included was a big bottle of Glycolid Hand Scrub. It’s a citrus-scented gel that contains tiny little exfoliating granules that you rub between your hands to shloff off the dead skin. This product is very similar to Mary Kay’s Satin Hands, which is also one of my favs.

Some other highlights to mention: Julep polishes are free of DBP, toluene, formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. Also, Julep donates $1 from every Nail Vernis to organizations that empower women. Do you subscribe? Share your thoughts!
