Cravebox! May 2012

21 Jun

Cravebox is BACK! They took a little hiatus in April and I missed them oh so much. May’s Cravebox is dubiously themed “A Taste of the Tropics” and it was sincerely worth the wait.

May’s Cravebox included:

  • Tree Hut Coconut Lime Shea Sugar Body Scrub (FULL size)
  • Skintersection Intense Repair Cream (FULL size)
  • Guylian Original Belgian Chocolate Sea Shells
  • Lipton Tea & Honey drink mix packet in Mango Pineapple
  • Sunsweet Plum Amazins dried plums

The packaging this month was too cute. I loved all the different colored confetti.

The stand-out product for me this month was definitely the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub. Cravebox included the full size jar and it retails for about $6. It’s an AMAZING exfoliator and one of the best self-tanner prep products I’ve ever come across. In the shower after I’ve already cleansed with my regular body wash, I rub a glob of this product in circular motions on each section of my body (arms/legs/chest/stomach/feet). After rinsing, my skin is left perfectly moisturized and exfoliated. It makes my self tanner application look 10x better.

The Skintersection Intense Repair Cream is also an awesome product this month. I received the FULL size jar in my Cravebox and it retails for about $18. This cream is super intense so I’ve been applying it to my feet at night before I go to bed. It’s been working awesome for my dry heels!

The dried plums I didn’t think I would care for, but they are actually delicious. The chocolate (although melted) was delicious as well. I already have a bunch of the Lipton tea packets from a Klout Perk that I received last month, but was still happy to get another one :)

I’m 100% happy with this Cravebox! Can’t wait for June’s. To learn more about the service and membership, head over to

Cravebox looks so awesome! I love how it’s a mix of beauty, food, and lifestyle products.

The Tree Hut scrub has been my favorite for a couple of years now. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth without being all gross and greasy like some scrubs. Currently, I’m almost halfway through a jar of Hawaiian Kukui.
