Cravebox! February 2012

1 Mar

I received my third Cravebox delivery last week. This isn’t strictly a “beauty” box (although there has always been at least one beauty item in each box), so I wouldn’t compare it to my other subscriptions. I have been thoroughly enjoying my  Cravebox membership because it’s turned me onto several products that I’ve  fallen in love with, but would have never tried otherwise. And that, my friends, is exactly why I join these monthly things! If you’re unfamiliar, you can checkout all of my past Cravebox posts here

From the Cravebox website:

The February Make-a-Date Cravebox is designed to help you put a spring in your step and make it a little easier to prepare for a great night out with friends or that special someone in your life. We’re bringing you five fabulous products to help your day go smoothly so you can look and feel your best for a fun night out!

My February box included:

  • AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam
  • AmorePacific Moisture Bound
  • 6 BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers
  • Downy Wrinkle Releaser
  • 3 EBOOST Packets
  • 2 THINKTHIN Protein Bars

AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam & Moisture Bound: These are the two items I was most excited to receive. They are VERY generously sized. I’m guessing I could use them both for about 4 to 8 weeks. The full size Moisture Bound is $35 and the Cleansing Foam is $50 at Sephora. They both have very good reviews on the Sephora website so I can’t wait to work these into my skincare routine.

BIC Mark It Permanent Markers: I am such a sucker for writing utensils. I love to scribble… it’s this weird obsession that I’ve always had. If I’m chatting on the phone with someone or having a slow day at the office, 9 times out of 10 I will be scribbling down random thoughts on a Post-It with my favorite pen. I love the colors of these markers! They are fine-tip so I will be able to use them for everyday writing at work. And writing in pretty colors at work makes me happy :)

Downy Wrinkle Releaser: My boyfriend’s cousin stays with us whenever he’s in town and he ALWAYS brings his Downy Wrinkle Releaser with him. He is a clothing snob so wearing a wrinkled shirt out of the house is a sin in his eyes. He swears by the stuff. I volunteer for a few organizations and need to attend meetings after work sometimes, but my clothing will periodically wrinkle throughout the day. I’ll be keeping this baby in my desk drawer for sure.

EBOOST: I received a packed of EBOOST in one of my recent Birchboxes. Now I’m glad that I have more! It’s super yummy and refreshing. I’m picky about drink mixes and this is one that I would definitely keep around the house. It’s not too sweet with just the right tang. If you’re not big on vitamins in pill form, you should try this out.

THINKTHIN Protein Bars: I received the Creamy Peanut butter and Chocolate Dipped Mixed Nuts flavors. Ugh… YUM! These were the perfect item for me because I’ve been on a “eat healthier” diet since the beginning of the year. I cut fast food out of my diet completely, I pack a healthy lunch everyday and I’ve lost 12 pounds so far :) I like eating protein bars for breakfast or as a snack for the afternoon, so I will be enjoying these.

Cravebox is $10 per month and I always feel like I receive well beyond my money’s worth. They aren’t accepting new subscribers at the moment, but you can sign up at to get notified as soon as they start accepting new members again.

Disclosure: Not sponsored in any way. I pay for my subscription with my own money.
