When I found out Lucky Magazine was partnering up with OCC to offer a set of 4 lip tars plus a lip brush for $29.50, I could resist no longer. Typically each Lip Tar costs $14.50, so getting 4 of them PLUS a lip brush for under $30 was a freakin’ steal.

What a long name for such a little product lol. It Cosmetics sent me their newest multi-tasking lippie, which promises to replace your lipstick, balm, stain and gloss. They are calling it a ‘Lip Flush’ and I’m kinda diggin’ the concept.

I’m sure all of us makeup junkies have tried an NYC product at least once in our lives, right? It’s one of the most affordable cosmetic lines at your local drugstore. And most of the time, their products are very comparable to some high-end lines. I can count at least 10 of my friends who swear by NYC Sunny Bronzer (you probably can too!).

This was my first time trying out anything from the Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics line. I have been dabbling back into the mineral makeup scene quite a bit lately, so I was excited to try an established mineral brand that was new to me. I’ve seen Youngblood products around youtube and a few of my friends rave about their foundations. Pretty sure I’ve also seen them mentioned in a few of my Allure mags.

I’m sure 99% of you are sick of all the Revlon Lip Butter hoopla, am I right? Lol well, I recently surrendered to the almighty lip butter Gods! These things really are awesome and actually DO live up to the hype. The only frustrating thing is finding them. Every display of these that I’ve found has been so incredibly picked over. I was lucky enough to grab these 3 shades at CVS, which are 3 of the 4 that I wanted! I still need to find Peach Parfait but so far I have: Creamsicle, Sugar Frosting and Strawberry Shortcake.

Who doesn’t love a triple threat beauty product? Ever since Tarte launched their LipSurgence line earlier this year, I’ve been enamored with the decadent little things. Actually, little they are not. Tarte has found a way to morphe a balm, lipstick and gloss into one chubby pencil to create the LipSurgence line. Each shade smells and taste like yummy peppermint, which make them deliciously makeout friendly :)

I don’t know about you ladies and gents, but I’ve been seeing the Juice Beauty brand buzzing around all over the place lately. It was included in some recent Birchbox shipments and featured in a few of my fashion magazines. It just so happened that my Naturals VoxBox from Influenster included a full size tube of Juice Beauty Conditioning Lip Color in shade ”Organic Fig”. This pleased me greatly :)

I’m kind of a gloss addict. If any particular lip gloss brand or product is buzzing around the beauty world, I have this alien-like radar that sounds off in my brain until I go scope it out. This was pretty much the case when I bought the Jouer Moisturizing Lipgloss last week. I kept seeing this brand get name dropped in youtube videos and blogs, THEN Birchbox had to go and include it in one of their monthly boxes. I didn’t get it in my box, but Birchbox was shipping this product for free. And I had 100 Birchbox points to use ($10), AND there was a 20% off Birchbox coupon floating around… so I ended up getting this $20 lip gloss for $6, shipped. Cuz that’s how I roll.
