Guess who picked up another makeup collection on QVC? Yeah.. this girl. It’s becoming a problem honestly lol. But to be fair, I did need to get a Balance N’ Brighten foundation in Fair, because the only shade I currently have is Porcelain and it’s waaaay to white for me nowadays. I guess I’m not the same pasty chick that I used to be ;) Plus, it’s just plain hard to turn down a Laura Geller collection under $50.

This was my first time trying out anything from the Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics line. I have been dabbling back into the mineral makeup scene quite a bit lately, so I was excited to try an established mineral brand that was new to me. I’ve seen Youngblood products around youtube and a few of my friends rave about their foundations. Pretty sure I’ve also seen them mentioned in a few of my Allure mags.

I recently documented my results after using an eyelash enchancing product, LashEm, for 8 weeks. LashEm Measurable Difference Lash Gel claims to be a conditioning, lash boosting formula that’s geared towards short, weak and brittle lashes. I don’t have the most unfortunate lashes around, but of course there is always room for improvement. My lashes do tend to get brittle an fall out easily, so I was excited to see if LashEm lived up to it’s claims.

The curse of the QVC Today’s Special Value has struck again. I was doing soooo good at resisting the temptation to buy this, but a fellow makeup junkie finessed me into a purchase. And I am SO glad she did! This fully-loaded Smashbox Mega Palette was on sale for $84.96 or 4 payments of $24.76 and completely worth every cent. It seems like every makeup tutorial I’ve watched lately has used one of these NYX JEPs (Jumbo Eye Pencils) as a base under their shadow. I spotted this set of 6 on sale on Hautelook a few weeks ago, and since I had been hoarding a $10 off coupon, I went ahead and purchased em. Hautelook’s sales have been less than impressive lately so.. I figured this was as good a time as any :) Original price was $16 (-$10 off coupon + $5 shipping) I paid about $11.

This set ROCKS! It’s $39 (although I only paid $29.25 because of the sale). It comes with NINE travel-sized pencils and one full size pencil, which is an $18 value in itself. You get the most popular color, Zero (black), in the full size. The other nine pencils are various shades of blue, green, purple, etc. They are travel sized, but they will still last a pretty long time because you most likely won’t be using them as everyday liners.

I have been hearing great things about this stuff, but I have been super disappointed in every other Maybelline mascara I’ve tried recently (especially The Falsies.. ugh). I have been known to really get myself into trouble when I’m up late watching QVC at 2am. It’s impossible for me to resist a beauty presentation on a home shopping channel. My boyfriend rolls his eyes in disgust as I sit there, glued to the television LOL. Well, Tarte was the lucky brand that got my attention a few nights ago. They were presenting a trio of waterproof clay eyeliners for $29 in black, sage and bronze. They arrived in my mailbox today and I am THRILLED!
