When I first moved into my house, I really struggled with storage options for my beauty products. I’m still not completely satisfied with what I’ve come up with, but it works for now. I converted the 10ft long shelf of my closet into my very own “Beauty Buffet” lol. I’ve setup four beauty stations: Skin, Hair, Makeup, Lotions/Perfumes. Eventually I will buy one of those tall multi-drawer units, but for now, this is what I’m working with.

As 2011 shortly comes to a close, I thought I would wrap up my first year of beauty blogging by creating a top 5 list of my favorite beauty related purchases of 2011. When I started this website back in January, I didn’t think photographing, reviewing and swatching dozens of different products would become such a fun and obsessive hobby. I need to figure out a better storage solution for all of my makeup. I bought this enormous train case about 2 years ago, thinking it would be the answer to all my clutter problems. It worked for a little while but now my makeup is busting at the seams again!
