My Lunch Break Target Haul

22 Sep

Whenever I’m having a stressful day at work, I take it out on my credit cards. Nothing relaxes me better than shopping, my endorphines go crazy :) So I did a fun little Target run on my lunch hour today to alleviate some stress. I actually haven’t shopped for beauty stuff at Target since I was in high school (2003 – crazy I know). I can’t BELIEVE how much amazing beauty stuff Target carries. For example I never in a million years would have guessed Napoleon was sold at there lol. I’ve been missin’ out, yo.

Here is what I picked up:

Did you know Lip Smackers has all natural lip balms now? Woot :) These are super yummy, but be careful when you apply them because they can get a little gloppy once warmed up from the friction of your lips.

Boots No. 7 Mousse Foundation in Buff. Kinda dark for me, I might have to return it and get the New Ivory shade.

ELF Golden Bronzer which I will never use on my cheeks ever again. The highlighter in this is WOWZA and my face looked like it was glitter bombed all day. Works nicely for the eyes through. I’ve been wanting to try this Maybelline Dream Matte Powder for ages, finally found my shade (sand) and I love the product!

I couldn’t resist these Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes. I normally pickup the CVS brand ones but these were calling out to me. They smell so nice and do a thorough job removing my makeup before bed.

I picked up a spare of my favorite ELF Powder Brush and decided to give this Rimmel Max Bold Curves Mascara a try. This is my first time ever trying a Rimmel mascara and I LOVE it. Normally I don’t go for drugstore mascaras because they flake/clump/generally suck but I think I just became a serious Rimmel girl.

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in Pink Champagne (soooo pretty!!!) & Secret Clear Gel Deodorant in Love Me Some Lily (favorite deodorant ever).

Swatched the NYC Dust. The packaging of these is SO much better than the Urban Decay pigment packaging. I had zero fallout when swatching.

And that wraps up my lunch break Target haul :)
