Epic Little Black Bag Haul

This is my third and most amazing haul to date from Little Black Bag. I’ve been a tiddle bit addicted to that website lately. If you’re unfamiliar with Little Black Bag, please take a look at my review of the service here. To give you a brief synopsis: You are given 3 to 4 items and you have 7 days to trade them with other members of the site, and when you’re happy with your bag, you can ship it. There is no limit to the number of items or value you can potentially accrue in your bag.

The retail value of everything in my bag was an impressive $540. The BCBG watch alone retails for $85, which is way more than the cost of the entire bag.
The only thing I don’t like are the Steve Madden Rose Gold Aviators and those are what I opened my bag with surprisingly enough. They feel super cheap, like dollar store sunglasses. And mine arrived with two deep scratches in the left lense. Everything else is amazeballs.

You weren’t kidding when you said Epic haul! I’m really impressed with LBB but need to resist it but it’s getting hard to seeing how much awesome stuff they offer. Those Betsey Johnson Rose earrings are super cute :)

What an amazing haul!!! I’m so jealous. I’m not very good at the trading part of it all. I’ve only gotten one bag from them. When I see something amazing on their website that i have to have I will open another one. But I need some tips from you LOL
Lol I swear it gets easier the more you do it! And I had a mega advantage with this bag because I opened with 8 items. One of the tricks I do though is trade each individual item up as far you can, then accept multiple item trades for it to trade up and get more stuff in your bag. If something isn’t trading up, then either trade sideways (for stuff of the same value) or trade down to something that trades better.

Im super jealous. I’m pretty sure we closed our bags on he same day and mine has not even shipped yet. I also did my third bag and it’s amazing how much easier it gets ith some practice to get an amazing haul. awesome job.
oh wow, that’s crappy! I would call them and make sure nothing in your bag was out of stock. I’ve heard that happens sometimes and it can hold up shipping. Hope you get it soon tho!

I’m so jealous! My 1st bag is suppose to arrive tomorrow, I can’t wait! I’m hoping the color of the bag is what I want, really nervous about that. I went nuts the last 9 hours or so when I looked at the measurements of the earrings I picked and saw they were way longer than I would wear. So it was a mad rush to trade ‘em quick, so I landed up going from 4 items to 2 items. Hoping I like the BJ cat earrings and MB bag I landed up with. The trading is addictive and fun. I want to open another bag before the month is up :) I’d call ‘em about the glasses, I hear customer service is good.
WOOHOO I hope you enjoy your first bag :) I did contact customer service about it and I sent off my return package. They’re giving me an exchange credit for my next bag.
How were you able to start with so many items?
I had two extra from a referral credit and coupon code, then I picked a lesser valued item ($36 aviators) to open my bag with so it automatically generated a bunch of items into my bag to reach the $100 minimum bag value.

OMG!!!! How did you get SO many items!?!? Sooo jealous that purse is gorgeous and that ribbon watch looked boring online but now that I see it at different angles it is SO CUTE! Anddd I seriously want ALL the Betsey Johnson earrings, I got two in my last bag :)

Thanks!!! If you open with a cheaper item you will typically get more items in your bag. It works great if you have the time to trade up throughout your 7 days :) I am SO addicted to the Betsey jewelry now too. They’re all SO CUTE!

I just opened my FIRST EVER little black bag tonight and am super excited! Very envious of your LBB skills, still trying to get the hang of things but your tips/tricks have helped! Love your blog!
YAY!!! How do you like it so far? I remember being sooo nervous when I opened my first bag lol. I was scared to trade anything in fear of messing up.
That’s exactly how I feel! Lol. But it’s still an awesome idea!!
How do you manage to get so many things? do you have any tricks how to trade?
I spend the first few days trading all of my items up up up and accepting the most trade-able double offers I get. Then trading those items up up up. It takes a lot of time, patience and persistence but it pays off!
