This tray is one of the most versatile products I’ve discovered this year. Living in a 110° climate in the summer makes it very difficult for me to wear liquid foundation. To put it bluntly, my skin sucks ass. I need serious coverage and I need it to last throughout my 9-hour work day. I typically use mineral foundation all summer long because it can withstand perspiration and still give me the coverage that I need.

Through the beauty forum I frequent, I recently discovered a fun little monthly service called Little Black Bag. It’s unlike any other girly subscription service I’ve tried (Jewelmint/Birchbox/MyGlam) etc. It’s a completely different concept, and once you get the hang of things, it becomes a severely addicting service.

I received my beloved Beauty Army kit last week. I was very pleased with the selection of items this month! And Beauty Army just implemented a new feature: Skip A Month. If none of their samples interest you in any given month, or if you’re strapped for cash, you can skip without cancelling your entire account. This is a feature that Julep has had since day one and it’s always been something I wish all subscription services had. Way to go Beauty Army :)

I am surprisingly happy with MyGlam this month! April’s Glam bag is definitely an improvement from March’s bag. All of the items are fun and makeup-related. Most importantly, there was NO skincare stuff! Woot! I don’t know about you, but I’m all skincare’d out.
